My Story
Hi! My name is Nat and I want to share with you how I became a Scentsy consultant. Firstly I am a stay at home mum of three young children and I come from a teaching and childcare back ground...no sales experience at all! A friend of mine invited me to her scentsy party... I had no idea what it was, all I heard was that it was a smelly candle type thing. I liked smelly candles (even though i never lit them with because of the kids) so I went along. WOW! Loved the concept straight away and bought my very first warmer (Zen rock).
My friend then decided to join, so a couple of weeks later I went along to her launch party where I bought my second warmer (Tilia) and my excitement grew and grew for this amazing product. I was in the midst of moving interstate and I made the decision to join as well. I joined in 2015 just to get the awesome kit and to be able to buy my own supplies to feed my addiction, maybe sell to my family,but thats it!! I dont work in sales and never have so was just happy to get cheapies for me...
I had a successful launch party then a couple of friends had parties for me and it has been non stop since! I hadny planned on making money from this amazing company or turning this into my very own business...it kind of just happend! Then with support from our amazing team leaders, who saw my potential, they changed my thinking and made me think about this as a serious possibilty of making it something for myself. I had this mind change and decided to start really working my business. It wasnt long before i was promoted to Lead Consultant, to Star Consultant and in just 11 short months I promoted to Director!!! For the first time in my life I can honestly say I am so proud of myself...doing this for me and its working! I am very passionate about my love of scentsy, the product and the people and stories behind it. I love sharing this with people and now have my very own team which is constantly growing with like minded passionate people.
During my time with Scentsy so far, I have earned incentive trips as well! I have earned trips to Singapore, NYC, South Africa, New Zealand, Mexico and a Mediterranean Cruise on the biggest cruise liner in the world! I love that scentsy is feeding my need to travel and putting stamps in my passport.
Although we have several ways of sharing our scentsy products, including basket parties, pouch parties, catalogue parties and online parties, my favourite way of partying is home parties. I get to have a mummy time out where daddy has the kids and gives me a break, i get to meet new amazing people who turn into customers and who turn into friends and i get to reconnect with old friends as they start hearing about what i am doing.
